Namaz e Janaza Ka Tariqa Step By Step Guide

Muslims’ funerals must include the Dua of Namaz e Janaza. For Namaz Janaza, there are three different forms of duas. These forms vary depending on the deceased Muslim’s age and gender.

What is Namaz e Janaza?

Muslims perform prayer for the dead person which is known as Namaz-e-janaza. It is an essential component of the Islamic funeral rites. In the assembly, prayer is recited to beg forgiveness for the deceased and all Muslims who have passed away.

Muslims are all obligated to perform Salat al-Janazah (fard al-kifaya). It implies that the burden is lessened if some Muslims take responsibility. If no one complies after that, the Muslims will be held responsible.

Method to offer Namaz e Janaza

It is best for those who are praying to form odd ranks with an imam standing in front, facing the qiblah. In front of the Imam is where the body is placed. If there are many, one body should be placed in front of the other.

A silent recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha precedes the spoken portion of the prayer. A prayer is continued by asking for ALLAH’s mercy, just, and grace. There are two duas after that. There isn’t any Ruku in the Janazah prayer.

Muhammad (SAW) and his companions advised performing the salat as follows:

  1. Raise your hands and, with the correct neeyat (intention) in your heart, read the first Takbir. As is custom, you fold your hands on your front. It is imperative to put the right hand on the left hand. After that, you must seek Allah’s protection from the miserable Shaytan. You must recite Al-Fatiha and say the Bismillah.

O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, give him peace, excuse him, elevate his station, broaden his entrance, wash him with water, snow and ice, purify him from his sins as a white garment is purified of dirt, and give him a better home than his home, a better family than his family, a better spouse than his spouse, and admit him into Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of Hell.
