In the Quran, the phrase “Tabarakallah” is used several times, particularly in the context of praising Allah for His creation. For example, in Surah Al-Waqi’ah (The Event), Allah says, “And have you seen the water that you drink? Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful? Tabarakallah, the Best of creators!” (56:68-71)
Similarly, in Surah Al-A’raf (The Heights), Allah says, “Say, ‘Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good things of provision?’ Say, ‘They are for those who believe during the worldly life, but exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection.’ Thus do We detail the verses for a people who know. Say, ‘My Lord has only forbidden immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed – and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know.’ Tabarakallah and Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him.” (7:32-33)
In addition to being used in the Quran, the phrase “Tabarakallah” is also frequently used in Islamic invocations and supplications. Muslims often say “Tabarakallah” when they witness something beautiful, such as a sunset or a rainbow, as a way of expressing their gratitude to Allah for His creation.
In conclusion, “Tabarakallah” is a powerful phrase that holds deep meaning for Muslims. It serves as a reminder of Allah’s greatness, blessings, and the beauty of His creation. Using this phrase regularly can help us to remain mindful of Allah’s presence in our lives and develop a deeper connection with Him.
