The Arabic name of Surah Duha is الضحى, also written Ad-Duhaa. The word duha refers to the bright part of the morning after sunrise, and the surah takes this name from its opening oath. It is the 93rd chapter of the Quran and has 11 verses. It was revealed in Makkah, so it is counted among the Makki surahs. In the revelation-order list used by quran.com, it is number 11 of 114. It is found in Juz 30. In the order of the Mushaf it comes after Surah Al-Layl and before Surah Ash-Sharh.
Surah Duha speaks to anyone going through a difficult time, as it was first revealed to reassure the Prophet when he felt alone.
