We stand behind our service. Smart Quran Academy is committed to ensuring every student is satisfied. If you are not happy with our service, we will work with you fairly to resolve the issue — including issuing refunds where appropriate.

Refund Overview

We offer a straightforward refund policy designed to be fair to both our students and our teachers. The quick summary of our policy is:

Full Refund
Within 7 days of first paid class if unsatisfied
Pro-Rata Refund
Unused classes refunded if cancelling mid-month
No Refund
Classes already attended or late cancellations

Eligibility for Refund

You are eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • 7-day satisfaction guarantee: If you are not satisfied after your first paid class, you may request a full refund within 7 days of that class date. This applies to first-time enrollments only.
  • Teacher no-show: If your assigned teacher does not attend a scheduled class and we are unable to provide a replacement, you are entitled to a full refund for that session.
  • Technical failure on our end: If a class cannot proceed due to a platform or server issue on Smart Quran Academy's side, that class will be refunded or rescheduled at your choice.
  • Unused prepaid classes: If you cancel your subscription with prepaid classes remaining, the pro-rata value of unused sessions will be refunded within the processing period.
  • Duplicate payment: If you are accidentally charged twice, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full upon verification.

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • Classes that have been attended and completed by the student.
  • Classes cancelled by the student with less than 12 hours' notice (these are counted as used sessions).
  • Refund requests made after 7 days of the first paid class for first-time enrollments.
  • Absence from a scheduled class without prior cancellation or notification.
  • Dissatisfaction cited after a student has attended 4 or more classes in the billing period.
  • Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.
If you are ever unsure about whether your situation qualifies for a refund, please contact us before taking any action. We are happy to review your case individually and find a fair resolution.

How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple. Follow these steps:

Send an email to refunds@smartquranacademy.com with the subject line "Refund Request – [Your Name]".

Include your details
Provide your full name, registered email address, payment reference or invoice number, and a brief explanation of the reason for the refund request.

Wait for review
Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and respond with a decision. We may ask for additional information if needed.

Receive your refund
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within the timeframe stated in Section 5 below.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund has been approved by our team, please allow the following timeframes for the funds to appear:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
  • PayPal: 3–5 business days.
  • Bank Transfer: 7–14 business days, depending on the receiving bank and country.

Smart Quran Academy is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider. If you have not received your refund after the stated timeframe, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us if the issue persists.

Free Trial Class Policy

Smart Quran Academy offers a free trial class to all new students before any payment is required. This trial allows you to experience our teaching method, meet your teacher, and assess suitability — completely risk-free.

Since the trial class is provided at no cost, no refund is applicable for the trial session itself. Payment is only collected after you decide to proceed with enrollment.

Not sure yet? Book your free trial class first. You only pay when you are fully satisfied and ready to begin regular classes.

Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage all students to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication.

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending the outcome of the dispute. Unjustified chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

We are committed to resolving all genuine disputes fairly. Please give us the opportunity to make things right before escalating to your payment provider.
